How Cleveland Native Bianca Crawford Turned Adversity into a Movement for Change

CLEVELAND, OH — Cleveland native Bianca Crawford, Founder and CEO of Motivated and Empowered Inc., has transformed her lived experiences of adversarial hardship into a ministry driven mission that uplifts and restores hope for at risk youth, pregnant and parenting moms, and families across Northeast Ohio and beyond.

What began as a small mentorship initiative in 2012 has grown into a multi-city organization providing education, emotional and spiritual support, leadership and workforce development, as well as community resources. Over the past 14 years, Motivated and Empowered has helped hundreds of young women and families find stability, confidence, and purpose.

Mrs. Crawford’s leadership is rooted in authenticity— shaped by her own journey of overcoming childhood trauma and abuse, homelessness, and systemic barriers. "The journey to success wasn't easy but the view for tomorrow kept me going."

Motivated and Empowered will celebrate its Grand Opening and First Annual Town Hall on Friday, October 24, 2025, at its new facility! The event will bring together community leaders, youth, and partners to reflect on 14 years of impact, unveil new strategic initiatives, and officially open the organization’s expanded space.

Through her work, Bianca Crawford continues to prove that empowerment is not just a program, it’s a movement born from experience, driven by purpose, and rooted in community.
