Workforce Readiness & Development

Healthy development doesn’t end once a child finishes their early years of education. As youth approach adolescence, they need practical, age-appropriate career guidance to help them navigate the transition into adulthood and the working world. That’s why Motivated and Empowered Inc. has created our Workforce Readiness & Development programs—designed to help youth and their parents gain the skills, insights, and opportunities needed to build successful, fulfilling futures.

Our aim is to educate, inform, empower, and motivate individuals to take control of their career paths by making responsible and strategic decisions—now and in the years to come.

Youth Workforce Readiness (Internships, Apprenticeships, Workforce Education)

Our Youth Workforce Readiness track helps participants aged 14–18 understand the professional, social, and practical changes that come with entering the job market. We believe hands-on experiences, structured learning, and mentorship are key to preparing young people for success.

  • Paid Apprenticeships and Internships
Gain real-world experience under the guidance of industry professionals, learning valuable trades or office skills in a supportive environment.

  • Skills Workshops
Focus on resume-building, interview practice, soft skills training, and career exploration, ensuring youth are well-prepared for the realities of the working world.

  • Financial Education

  • Learn budgeting, saving, and credit basics to help establish healthy financial habits early in life.

Currently, our workforce readiness sessions are offered free of charge through community funding. We also customize fee-for-service programs to fit the needs of schools, community groups, and nonprofit organizations.
